St. Joseph Catholic School plans to offer a wide range of extra-curricular activities.  Information regarding such programs will be distributed to the students through the school office by the various organizations.

Extra-curricular activities are an integral part of the overall instructional program at St. Joseph Catholic School.  Academic studies, however, take priority whenever the two conflict.  In order to enforce these priorities, the principal may determine eligibility to participate in such activities.

All activities involving students acting in the school’s name outside of the classroom are under the direct jurisdiction of the principal.  Such activities are meaningful and appropriate for the age level involved.  The principal has the authority and the responsibility to intervene if the activity is not functioning for the good of the students.
