Listed below are recommendations in English and Spanish from Dallas County Department of Health, as well as information from the Centers for Disease Control. Please feel free to contact Mrs. Fritz with any questions or concerns you may have.

We have also been asked by the Diocese to share the following recommendations re: precautions for prevention of staph infection (which has been in the news recently). Please check with your doctor for more information.
Recommendations:
- See a doctor if a skin sore becomes red, hot-to-the-touch, swelts or develops boils or blisters
- Wash hands frequently with soap and water
- Keep fingernails clean and clipped short
- Avoid contact with other people's wounds
- Avoid sharing personal items such as jewlry, towels, deodorants or soap
- Clean and disinfect gym and sports equipment before each use
- Wash clothes, linens, towels with hot water and detergent. Dry in dyer rather than air drying.
- Students who participage in contact sports should shower immediately after each practice or game.
