Handwashing/Hand Sanitizing

All SJCS students and staff will be trained in proper hand washing protocols.  All elementary classrooms have sinks that can be utilized for hand washing.  Large hand washing areas are available in each of our restrooms.
Bottles of hand sanitizer will be provided in all classrooms, offices, etc.  There are five touch-less hand sanitizing stations that have been installed in our school hallways.
All students/faculty/staff will be asked to wash or sanitize upon entering the school building, before and after eating, after using the restroom, blowing nose/coughing/sneezing and before and after recess. Our younger students will engage in supervised hand washing for at least 20 seconds at least two times each day in addition to being monitored after using the restroom and before eating snack/lunch.
