Why I Teach: I became a teacher because I wanted to pass on to my students my love of learning.

Education and Training: I have a BA in Economics from The University of Notre Dame and I received my teaching certification from Collin College.

Where I have lived: I was born and raised outside of Boston, MA, and did some time in South Bend, IN, and Washington DC. I have lived in Plano, TX for over 25 years.

My Professional Experience: I have over 10 years experience teaching math full time and many more years as substitute teaching everyone from Pre-K 3 to 8th grade.

My Family: My husband Bob and I  have been married 29 years as of August 26,2018. We have 2 children, Taylor, a graduate of University of Arizona working in Public Relations, and John,  a University of San Diego graduate working in Advertising. Both of my children live in Los Angeles.

Something you might not know about me: As a substitute I have been a school nurse, a music teacher, an art teacher and a Spanish teacher (I speak French)!

My prayer for my students: I pray that I will always treat my students with the love and respect they deserve, that I empower them with a passion for learning, and that by my example they find joy and happiness in everyday life.
