Why I Teach: I like helping them grow. I enjoy sharing stories as well as listening to their own.
Education and Training: I have a Master Degree in Child Psychology, I worked as such only in Argentina; here I always taught Spanish for Elementary and Middle school. Every year, I update my preparation with workshops and trainings in applied educational subjects.
Where I have lived: I always lived in Argentina until the year 1991 when my family and I moved to Dallas. Since then we live in the Plano area.
My Professional Experience: I have been teaching in the Diocese of Dallas since 1996, first at Good Shepherd, then Saint Thomas Aquinas and since 2006 here at Saint Joseph. I also work at Dallas International School for summer school teaching Spanish to kids for their enjoyment.
My Family: I have been happily married for almost 36 years to my husband Horacio who is a Civil Engineer at the City of Dallas. We have two daughters; our oldest graduated from Veterinary and Biology school and is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Biology. Our youngest finished her Master in Fine Arts in the San Francisco Art Institute. We have a yellow Labrador dog (Abby) and two cats (Yu and Dharma).
Something you might not know about me: Is that I studied at Universidad del Salvador, a Jesuit University in Buenos Aires where our Pope Francis was the school Dean.
