Favorite Quotation: I love quotes. I’m always finding a new one that I can connect with on some level. I currently have one posted outside my classroom door. “It’s not about Being the Best. It’s about Being Better than you were Yesterday.”
Why I Teach: I can’t think of anything I’d rather do than to help guide today’s generation in gaining knowledge, worshiping God, and serving others. That is the trifecta of life!
Education: I have a BS in Human Relations and a MA in School Counseling. I have certification to teach grades 1-12 Special Education; grades 1-8 General Education; and grades 1-12 School Counseling
Where I Have Lived: I have always lived in the Dallas area
My Professional Experience: I have taught for the Dallas Diocese for nine years at both the elementary and middle school levels. I left the Diocese for two years, but I “came home” as soon as I could!
My Family: I have been married for 15 years. We have one daughter who attends St. Joseph.
Something you might not know about me: I once won first place in a dance contest by doing the Charleston.
My prayer for my students: Loving Father, my future sometimes seems distant and unknown. Give me, O Lord, the vision to see the path you set before me. Grant me the courage to follow your way, that through the gifts and talents you have given me, I may bring your life and your love to others. I ask this through Jesus’s name. Amen.
